28th Oct 2010 WINE ENTHUSIAST MAGAZINE VISITS MUCKRACH!
We were honoured to host journalist Kathy Mangan for two days as she researched a major article on Single Malt Scotch Whisky. The six page spread is to be published in Wine Enthusiast Magazine in February. It will be supported by online features on their website.Kathy enjoyed one of our famous six course whisky dinners. Each course was accompanied by a different whisky, which was used in the dish as well as served. Regular hotel guests were also at the event, and found the experience memorable, enjoyable and novel. She then had a tour of the hotel, met the highland cows and spent the remaining time travelling around the area.
Muckrach would like to thank Inver House Distillers for their support. Their Speyburn 25 year Solera was especially appreciated by Kathy and the guests. As well as serving a generous measure, we marinaded some Loch Duart salmon in it - yummy!
