EXCLUSIVE USE AT MUCKRACH LODGE

EXCLUSIVE USE is an event booking category which secures the client exclusive use of the entire hotel including public rooms, restaurants, bars, bedrooms, grounds and regular staff for a specified period of time.  It ensures privacy and exclusivity for the client and their guests, and enables the management team and staff to focus solely on the client and their needs.

The EXCLUSIVE USE FEE is paid by the client to have EXCLUSIVE USE of the hotel for the specified period. The minimum period is 24 hours and the commencement is 1230 on the first day. 

During an EXCLUSIVE USE period, no guests other than at the invitation of the client are able to use any part of the hotel, restaurants or bars, and signage is prominently displayed at the hotel entrances to that effect.

For Friday and Saturday bookings the minimum EXCLUSIVE USE period is 48 hours, commencing 1230.

Events with more than 30 attendees, and/or events which would unreasonably disrupt the peaceful enjoyment of the hotel for resident guests not involved in the event, can only take place under an EXCLUSIVE USE agreement.

 

The EXCLUSIVE USE FEE does not cover the following:

Food, beverages and other chargeable hotel services provided during the EXCLUSIVE USE period;

third party provision of goods, services or facilities arranged by the hotel for the Client's use, whether on or off the premises. (Examples include outdoor activities, bands, discos, tentage, toilets, lighting, sound and projection systems, florists, transport etc.);

additional staffing for the event;

any service, labour, facility or supply not available at the hotel during standard operating periods.

CHARGEBACK.

Because the EXCLUSIVE USE FEE covers use of the entire hotel which includes all bedrooms, clients may choose to have resident guests charged for their stay by the hotel. The charges are always at hotel rack rate as published on the website, and all accommodation charges so received are credited back to the client account. Additional supplies of food, beverage and other hotel services to guests are NOT a part of the CHARGEBACK, which only applies to accommodation provision.

EXCLUSIVE USE FEES vary according to day of the week and time of the year.  They range from £1600 per day during weekday low season to £3500 per day during peak demand.
