A boutique hotel in the Cairngorms National Park will be open by April 2015. Muckrach Country House hotel will open with a warm Highland welcome as a special offering of a boutique hotel in the Cairngorms National Park.
Fishing on the Spey is a fisherman's dream. Think beautiful scenery filled with mountains and Scot's pine, with a stunning river flowing through it filled with sea trout on their return carrying hefty weights. The River Spey is the second longest and fast flowing river 107 miles long from Loch Spey near Fort Augustus through Newtonmore, Kingussie, Aviemore and Grantown on Spey reaching the sea near to Buckie.
Summer holidays in the Scottish highlands have been filled with fun in the sun, Scottish tradition, water sports, scottish castles, scottish estates and breath-taking views of lochs and mountains. I would recommend a holiday in the highlands to everyone, there is something for everyone; families, couples, site-seers, walkers, golfers, fishing parties, thrill seekers and groups of friends.
The Cairngorms National Park is brimming with local attractions. There is so much to see and do in the Speyside area of the Scottish Highlands, that we didn't know where to start! The whisky trail takes you through miles of beautiful scenery, into distilleries full of interest and inspiration and the outdoor pursuits take you on a journey filled with adrenalin and fun.
There is nothing like the Highland welcome; whether it be from the pipes of Spud the Piper or from the dulcet tones of the alluring Highland accent.
