Burns Night on January 25th is celebrated the world over, an evening where Scotland leads the celebration of the life and legacy of one of the world’s most famous literary figures, Robert Burns on what was his birthday. Where a wee dram, a haggis, a piper and Auld Lang Syne feature in an unrivalled evening celebrating a poet. 5 years after his death, the first Burns supper was held and from there the world has held a celebratory supper on the 25th January.

Muckrach Country House hotel will open its doors having been fully renovated over 15 months by a family who strive for the best quality and friendly approach to their business.
Creating a boutique hotel is one of the most exciting projects that we have ever been involved in, especially with the added challenges of it being in the Scottish Highlands. 11 uniquely designed bedrooms, a bar, a restaurant, a private dining room, a drawing room and a library housed in a Victorian shooting lodge set in 10 acres of pastureland in the Cairngorm National Park.
